Happy New Year, my Writing Mermaids and Mermen!

I’m so excited to start this new year in Sunshine State Romance Authors, because as Oprah says, we’ve got another chance as writers. A clean slate. A fresh start. Doesn’t that just send tingles down your spine?

And in true SSRA fashion, we’ve got some incredible ways to jumpstart your writing career! If you haven’t published a novel yet–guess what? We’ve got your back! If you’re a publishing veteran looking for the next challenge to jumpstart your sales–guess what? We’ve got your back for that, too! Just check out what we have planned for January and February as proof:

Jan 9: 5pm-6:45pm at the Homosassa library will be our first ever evening PRO-be meeting! I will award the gift card at the meeting, and obviously, you have to be present to win. The program at the meeting will cover a new and updated 2015 Writer’s Passport to Success, as well as other helpful tidbits as you navigate your way to a more successful writing career, so don’t miss out!!

Don't Forget!Feb 21: SSRA Workshop: Which Publishing Path is Right For You: Know Before You Submit will be held at the Homosassa Wildlife Park in their classroom area. This workshop is fast filling up, so if you haven’t signed up, you’d best hurry! It will be published in the papers soon, and we expect to reach room’s capacity very shortly after that. Dylan Newton was born and raised in a small town in Upstate New York where the local library was her favorite hang-out. Despite earning a degree in English Literature, Dylan spent more than a decade sidetracked by an executive position in corporate America where she swears she contracted testosterone poisoning. After leaving, she dedicated herself to more estrogen-rich passions, like motherhood, writing romance novels and her never-ending quest for the perfect date night.

Dylan married her high-school sweetheart and they are busy living out their own happily ever after in sunny Florida with their two incredible daughters and a snoring Shiz-Tsu.
