Make sure to mark your calendars and set your alarms so you don’t miss this month’s meeting with two great programs, both presented by our very own Anna Small, SSRA PRO and Librarian, as well as multi-published Historical Romance author.

SSRA April 27, 2013 Program

First on the agenda April 27th will be Costume and Characterization. This program will discuss more than historical clothing; it will discuss ways to use your character’s clothing choices to define them. This is a must-see session for historical romance writers but writers of all genres will surely benefit as well.

But wait, there’s more!

Do you have a great idea for a historical romance but don’t know where to begin? In Sifting Through History – Researching the Historical Romance, Anna will help you discover how to research and incorporate what you’ve discovered into your novel. Again, writers of all genres will glean valuable tips that go beyond Google search.

Come prepared for an informational bonanza, followed by our SSRA Board Meeting which is open to our members. We encourage you to attend because we value your ideas.

For detailed information about SSRA’s meeting times, location, and future programs, don’t forget to check out our MEETINGS page and view or download the 2013 Program Schedule.
